How I envision my Alma Mater ....celebrating 50th year of establishment:

The Sun symbolizes that we have been shining for 50 glorious years. The Shield is a token for awards and represents victory. The Book denotes the academic activity, which enlightens us - indicated by the Flame. The Globe and the Human-chain indicate that we have social contacts around the world. The Deer signifies the ecological balance inside the campus.The ‘Tricolor’ embodies the spirit of motherland India. And ‘Siddhirbhavati Karmaja’, the motto of IIT(M) sums-up all.
